ReImagine FLX Housing is a joint initiative of a number of community members, organizations and non-profit organizations that are committed to changing the narrative of housing in the Finger Lakes Region.
The three organizations leading the effort are the Greater Rochester Association of REALTORS, Mortgage Bankers Association - Greater Rochester, and Rochester Home Builders' Association.
A new perspective on what is possible for housing. Bringing together all the people in the housing process to brainstorm, test and create new housing solutions. We are challenging the status quo and working directly with community and government to remove the obstacles to many solutions.
Housing prices continue to rise. Inventory is at an all-time low and the pace of new construction is lagging behind demand. We want to make sure there is a home available at prices that makes sense for everyone who wants one. Whether that is a single family home for purchase or an apartment for rent and everything in-between and we want to find the space for options that haven't been considered yet.
Housing is a national problem, but we believe in a community solution. To us, this means focusing on the communities we live and work in. This site is dedicated to solutions in the Finger Lakes Region. We also have efforts moving forward in the Greater Rochester Region.
